Yes, we're focused on cooking this week, since Susan and Jeff will be participating in a cook-off Sunday at the Miami Spring Home Design and Remodeling Show.
Jeff admits to getting a little carried away with the grill and scorching his eyebrows.
I melted my can-opener when I put it down on a burner with the stove on.

The worst cooking disaster I did was the first time I made Homemade Chicken & Rice Soup. When the rice was nice and fluffy I added it to my soup (broth, carrots, celery.... ummmmmmm just like my mom's!!!) I left the stove on for approximately 30-45 minutes, Took the cover off to serve to my husband (just married 2 months earlier) and the rice soaked up all the broth!!!
